WAtch; Becca And Bisa Kdei Caught Cuddling Again – Video

bisa-kdei-becca_

Becca and Bisa Kdei have continuously denied that they are dating.

The “lover birds” who for some time now have been sharing love messages on social media and been seen together at several events were the toast of patrons who thronged the Accra International Conference Center for the 1021 laughs and Music organized by Charterhouse.

Bisa Kdei joined Becca in the middle of her set to perform with the songstress her latest single, “Hy3”.

The performance was turned into a romance session as both artistes were seen cuddling on stage to the admiration of the audience.

George Nii Armah Quaye, PRO of Charterhouse a week ago took to his Facebook timeline to write;

“Is it true someone will propose to someone at the comedy show? Hmmm.”

Is that confirmation that the two super stars are dating?

Enjoy Bisa Kdei and Becca cuddling on stage.

Ayittey Powers begs for TB Joshua’s forgiveness

BUKOMM

Michael Okine popularly known as Ayittey Powers suffered a second defeat in the hands of Braimah Issah Kamoko also known as Bukom Banku in a bout at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Boxing Day.
Dubbed “Repeat or revenge”, the bout was a follow-up to the unanimous points’ victory of Bukom Banku last year.
The holder of the bragging rights repeated his feat but this time securing a technical knockout over Powers, who is a member of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
After his defeat on Saturday, Ayittey Powers asked for forgiveness from head pastor of SCOAN, TB Joshua.
According to the Ghanaian boxer, he had been warned against the fight by the Nigerian preacher.
Speaking on Accra-based Joy FM on Sunday, the cruiserweight boxer said he had dislocated a shoulder bone, much to his surprise, during the fight.
“I don’t understand how it happened,” he said.
He, however, expressed thanks to TB Joshua for his support and advice.
Ayittey Powers’ first bout with archrival Bukom Banku had to be postponed last year after he said his spiritual father, TB Joshua, had advised him against fighting on the first agreed date.
Banku walks away with an SUV Range Rover, a holiday trip to South Africa as well as GH¢100,000 as his winning prize.

I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I prayed before D2R – Wisa opens up on TV3

Wisa-fresh

Hiplife artiste Wisa Greid, who has come under a barrage of attacks from moralists for exposing his peter during a live stage performance, continues to ask for forgiveness from his fans especially the loyal ones.

“I want people to give me another chance…so I can prove myself,” he said on TV3’s New Day on Monday, December 28.

Known in private life as Eugene Ashie, Wisa who is currently on police bail for “indecent exposure”, said he did nothing untoward ahead of the Decemba 2 Remeba concert contrary to perceptions that he had been “high”.

According to him, he neither drinks nor smokes and even prayed before getting onto that big stage.

He said what may have triggered such a “big mistake” was the excitement that greeted him from the audience packed in the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) venue.

“I think it was too much of excitement.”

He also refuted claims that his act was a publicity stunt, saying he had been billed for another show – the Rapperholic concert – the next day and would not have done anything to affect his fortunes.

The ‘Ekiki Me’ hitmaker said he is now concentrating on community service to “clean up all this mess”.

Mr Ashie says he has to see to the end of his case with the police as he is scheduled to report at the Accra Regional Command on Monday.

Revealed: Why Davido Failed to Perform at Olamide’s #OLIC2 Concert

davido, olamide

On Sunday night, HKN singer, Davido was billed to perform at indigenous rapper, Olamide’s concert, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

However, the Money singer never made it to the stage, and this infuriated quite a lot of the concertgoers.

Even after waiting in vain as a result of the organisers’ promise that Davido would perform after Olamide had closed the concert- the attendees still got disappointed.

In a bid to understand why Davido never showed up, YNaija went snooping and discovered that
Davido was actually held up in traffic while trying to get into Eko Hotel and Suites.

Their correspondent saw Davido pull up in his Audi R8 at about 4:30 am when most people were already losing hope and heading out while a few die-hard fans still waited in vain.

Davido was accompanied by his elder bother, Adewale Adeleke and cousin, B-Red.

He eventually made it back-stage but for some reason which we are yet to ascertain at the filing of this report, he failed to perform.

Subsequently, the artiste headed out to club Quilox where he was billed to host a pool party earlier in the day, but as a result of his family’s end of year party, he never made it to the event.

No Need For Resolutions: 12 Questions You Need To Ask Yourself Going Into The Future

menopause_and_black_women

Unlike our ancestors who only had a few options and a very practical approach to careers and lifestyle, we have bazillions of options, from career paths to relationships.

Today, we can have a career just by watching thousands of movies or testing beauty products. When it comes to relationships, there’s gay marriage and polyamory and co-parenting, and the list goes on.

While too many options can liberate us and lead us to our true calling, it can also paralyze us. Or even worse, it can turn us into career and relationship hoppers—always exploring, but never excelling or committing.

To help you envision the kind of life you really want and achieve it once and for all, ask yourself the following questions.

#1 What do you want to contribute to the world?

Doctors save lives, artists inspire, and comedians entertain. We gain dignity by what we contribute to society. Imagine waking up to 50 people lined up at your door. What do you want to offer them? Why would people come to you? List at least three things.

#2 What are the things you’re good at?

If you’re having a hard time with the first question, it’s probably because you’re so focused on the things you want to be and not on what you already are. It’s great to follow your passion, but it’s also great to offer what you’re already good at. So maybe you’re really good at writing but you want to be a musician. You can work as a copywriter by day and have gigs during the weekend. Don’t be paralyzed by thinking you’re only meant to do what you’re passionate about.

#3 Who are your role models?

Studying the career paths and personal lives of the people you admire the most can inspire you. Or at the very least, it can make you feel less alone. Google them and find out how they did it and learn about their challenges. Print out their pictures and quotes and pin them on your board. Whenever you hit a roadblock, just seeing their photos can push you to carry on.

#4 Imagine your epitaph. What does it say?

How grim it is to think about death when we’re visualizing our future? But this is an effective way to know what we want out of our existence. Since it’s an epitaph, limit your description to up to ten words. Examples: “The man obsessed with telling genuine stories,” “Inventor of crazy things,” “Best mom in the world.”

#5 Imagine your 75th birthday, what do you want people to say about you?

This is similar to #4 but is more detailed. So imagine an old and wrinkled you, sitting in a chair, listening to your guests say things about you. What do you want to hear?

Maybe you want to hear your daughter talk about how strict but loving you are, that you’ve helped her become the best version of herself. Maybe you want to hear your neighbor tell you that they always appreciate your warm smile and gifts. Maybe you want to hear your co-worker telling you that the office has been boring ever since you left. This will guide you to sculpt the kind of person you want to be.

#6 Money vs. passion?

You’re lucky if you can have both but most passionate pursuits. Starting your own company, becoming an artist, etc., requires 70% or more of your time and focus. If you’re at the crossroads and you really find it hard to decide whether you should work full-time at a corporate job or do freelance gigs doing what you love, you have to know right now what kind of suffering is more tolerable for you.

If you choose to follow your passion and it’s not lucrative, accept the possibility that you won’t be able to own five houses in five years. Likewise, if you choose to stick to financial security first, you’ll have to deal with the “what if’s” that will visit from time to time.

#7 What kind of people do you want to interact with on a daily basis?

Think of the people in your life right now whom you really want in your life five years from now. If you don’t want to include your best friend in the picture, then you have grown apart but are still in the process of cutting the cord. It’s okay, at least you’re clear about what you want and don’t want in friendships.

Once you’ve made a sketch of the people you want, make sure you say hi to these kind of people when you see them. They’re as rare as gems. Likewise, don’t get too close with the people whom you can’t imagine having laughs with in the future.

#8 What non-negotiable qualities are you looking for in a spouse?

Who we marry affects our future in all aspects. If you want to get married at all, list the qualities you are looking for in a relationship. Do not be too ambitious; “filthy rich, most handsome guy in the world”, because you might end up being disappointed all the time. Simply list the non-negotiable qualities that will be your guidelines in choosing a partner. Example: 1. Should look at me when I’m talking, 2. We should be able to laugh effortlessly, 3. Should have a good income, etc.

#9 Do you want to have kids? How many?

You have to remember that it’s perfectly fine not to have kids if you really don’t want to. But if you are planning to have kids, ask yourself how many can you really raise considering your answers to the questions above.

If your dream is to become a billionaire or an artist, it’s almost impossible to raise a dozen kids. Based on the lifestyle you’ve envisioned above, how many kids do you think you should have? Remember, you can’t do it all at the same time. While raising kids, you can’t be 100% devoted to your career, and vice versa.

#10 What things make you joyful and exuberant?

List all the things that make you happy; raindrops? tea? warm bath? hugs? Don’t hold back, get a pen and paper and keep writing for ten minutes. Incorporate all of these things into your plans for your future.

If gardening really makes you happy, make sure you get a home with a garden. If painting gives you joy, make sure that in your future home, you have a studio where you can paint.

#11 What is your perfect daily routine like?

Envision yourself waking up five years from now. What time is it? What kind of breakfast are you preparing? Do you go out to run or do some yoga in your living room? What’s your routine at night? What makes you excited for the weekend?

#12 What ten words do you want to describe your future self with?

More than a career and relationships, it’s important to know the kind of person you want to be in the future. Think of core characteristics like being patient, generous, always smiling, genuine, funny, a source of joy to yourself and others, etc. Write them down and read them from time to time. Start cultivating your personality because it shapes your future more than money, connections, and other things mentioned above.

Watch Sarkodie’s Rapperholic Performance With Wizkid, Fuse ODG, Efya, R2bees, Others – Video

Yes, Obidi did it again on 25th night at the Accra International Conference Center.

The BET award-winning artiste filled the auditorium when other A-list Ghanaian artistes supported him for this year’s Rapperholic concert.

For about two hours, Sarkodie and his supporting artistes kept the crowd hostage at the venue with none of the audience moving an inch towards the exit of the gate. Sarkodie was on top of his game on the night.

The Rapperholic night really showed how big Sarkodie is as an artiste in this century. The show hosted by King Of Ghana’s comedy, DKB also gave a picture of some great collaborations Sarkodie has done for the past years.

It looks like Michael has worked with all the artistes in Ghana looking at the big names that jumped on the Accra International Conference Center stage to perform with him.

Some of the giant musicians that helped Sarkodie on stage were Wizkid, Fuse ODG, R2bees, Samini, Jupita, Shatta Wale, Ofori Amponsah, Efya, Pappy Kojo and Joey B, Tee Phlow, Tinny, Killbeatz, Shatta Wale, Ofori Amponsah and many others.

The names mentioned above are the artistes who joined Sark on stage whilst performing but before Obidi were artistes like VVIP, E.L, Strongman, Episode, Rudebwoy Ranking and many others.

Watch highlights of Sarkodie’s performance with other stars below:

See how much Kim Kardashian & Kanye West were Offered For The 1st Photos Of Their Son Saint

kanye west and kim kardeshian

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been offered millions of dollars for the first pictures of their new born son, Saint. According to TMZ, the offers came from various magazines, ranging from $2 million to $2.5 million.

The magazines want more than just a head shot of Saint; they want the full family, including North. Candid family shots are part of the offer.

However there is a snag; Sources state that at this point they’re “almost certain” they will reject all offers. You may recall, the last time around, Kanye unveiled the first pics of North West on Kris Jenner’s talk show.

That show is long gone, but Khloe’s got a new show launching in a few weeks.”

Wisa Greid release apology statement

wisa greid

The upcoming musician Wisa Greid have received numerous messages condemning his behavior at the Citi FM’s event through social media and traditional outlets. His management has issued a statement to effect promise such behavior will not repeat itself.

Below is the statement posted on the artist facebook.

STATEMENT IN FULL

I fully understand the outrage that will greet this statement. And I want to begin by saying I am really, truly sorry.

In the early hours of Friday, December 25, I performed at the December 2 Remember Concert, organized by Citi FM. It was really my first big career live stage performance and the crowd had been amazing in the way they received me.

Then, I did something disappointing. I showed my genitals while performing.

I cannot explain this rash and irresponsible behaviour, but I have been trained to acknowledge my fault and be responsible for my actions. That is why I want to accept every bit of criticism that has come my wayin the ensuing hours.

I have disappointed myself, my family, my hard-working management team, Citi FM and the audience, who paid hard-earned money to be entertained but instead went away feeling anything but entertained.

Most importantly, I disappointed my God. I am exceedingly sorry for what I have done.

I acknowledge the statement issued earlier from the Office of Hiplife and Hiphop at the Musician Union of Ghana and will avail myself to all planned disciplinary actions in the coming week.

There are no words to describe how I feel about what I did. I hope the public as whole and industry stakeholder will find a place in their hearts to forgive me.

Thank you very much.

TUPAC MOVIE ‘Notorious’ Star RESURRECTS B.I.G.

-tupac-biggie-

Tupac Shakur‘s story can’t be told without Biggie Smalls … and TMZ has learned the man taking on that role is no stranger to playing the east coast rap legend.

Jamal Woolard will be reprising his role as Christopher Wallace in Morgan Creek Productions’, “All Eyez on Me.”

Woolard got rave reviews in 2009 when he played the namesake role in “Notorious.”

We’re told producers were so blown away by Woolard’s Biggie performance, he was the top choice when it came to casting.

The casting is amazing and eerie … you feel like you’re smack in the middle of a raging East Coast-West Coast war … except for the iPhone 6.

1222-sub-tupac-biggie-02

TMZ broke the story … a new Tupac movie is in the works starring a first time actor who looks like a double for the late rapper.

Fun Fact: Jamal — who also raps — was featured on the posthumous Tupac track, “Untouchable.”

Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ Meets Selena Gomez’s ‘Hands To Myself’ In This Dreamy Mashup

Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ Meets Selena Gomez’s ‘Hands To Myself’

At face value, Selena Gomez’s “Hands to Myself” and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” might not seem like ideal mashup companions.

Maybe it’s because of the convoluted history between the two artists, but mostly, they’re just wildly divergent: Selena’s sultry number finds her craving another person’s touch — and as we saw from the music video she just released, the more body, the better.

Justin’s Purpose cut, on the other hand, is all about longing for someone’s forgiveness, and in his case, it’s about “more than just your body.”

But that shared, central theme of longing is what Australian singer Troye Sivanlatched onto when he decided to give the two tracks a hazy mashup makeover. As his recently-released debut album proved, Troye knows a thing or two about heartache (see his video for “Wild” for more on that).

And even though he sneaks a couple smiles into his video — released Monday (Dec. 21) via “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” — the final cut ultimately sounds like it’d fit in on his brooding Blue Neighbourhood.

Basking in a soft purple light, the 20-year-old fuses Selena and Justin’s standout singles for a dreamy, downtempo medley that gives off a weird lyrical juxtaposition but sounds so, so sweet. Check it out:

I Kissed Efya Once – Sarkodie Confesses

Efya-and-Sarkodie-

Ghanaian songstress, Jane Awindor, popularly known as Efya, has chosen to have fun over marriage.

She has hinted that she prefers to remain single than to get married. She explains that even if she would get married, it would be in about a decade to come. This, according to her, will enable her live a happy life, something she believes getting married may ruin.

The love life of the silky songstress took centre stage in the Ghanaian media when rumours went viral on the various social media platforms that she was dating rapper Sarkodie.

Sarkodie responded swiftly denying the rumours but confessed kissing Efya on set as they were shooting his hit track ‘I’m in Love with You’. Speaking on ‘Showbiz Filla’ on Hitz FM, Efya said that she is now concentrating more on making money than getting marriage.

Efya further told Amanda Jisseh on the show that there is nothing enjoyable about marriage especially in today’s generation. “I want to be successful so I don’t want anything complicated. I don’t want to get married and get divorced then my kids will have to move from one house to the other,” she said.

The ‘Best In Me’ hit singer however said that she is optimistic that she would one day meet the special gentleman of her life who will understand her and accept her justthe way she is. “I can get anybody I want, so when I am ready I will give it the chance,” she said with a beam of a smile in her face.

MISS UNIVERSE Latina Contestants Unite SCREW MISS PHILIPPINES!!!

-miss-colombia-miss-philipeans-facebook-5

Miss Universe now has a raging war on its hands … between Latina contestants and Miss Philippines.

Sources who were backstage at Sunday’s pageant tell TMZ, after Steve Harvey throned and quickly de-throned Miss Colombia … Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Costa Rica, Miss Mexico and other Latina contestants swarmed Miss Colombia to console her.

The women were NOT blaming Steve Harvey, whom they said was gracious. They were squarely and tearfully blaming Miss Philippines for the embarrassment, although no one could coherently explain why the snafu was her fault.

Some of the Latina contestants were grousing backstage … Miss Philippines did not deserve the crown. We’re told most of them snubbed the winner, not congratulating her on the victory.

We’re told there has been a fierce competition between Colombia and the Philippines in the pageant’s history, and it certainly reared its head Sunday night.

Shanna Moakler, a former Miss USA and pageant honcho, told us on “TMZ Live” Monday the competition between Colombia and the Philippines is extremely fierce.

MUST READ: Why Cowry Shells Needs To Be Adopted More By Ghanaian Designers & Lovers Of Ghanaian Fashion

luxor-couture

In today’s world when one speaks of Ghanaian fashion, a few characteristics comes to mind. The first is print cloth which the majority is produced overseas and the minority produce in Ghana is not owned by Ghanians.

Then we have the Kente cloth with carries a lot of culture and royality. Although it’s market is also slowly being faded away by foreign European and Chinese manufactured textile prints that emulate its colors and patterns.

Then there is the growing popularity of the batakari / smock cloth with is very nice and beautiful to wear, but to expensive for our designers to adopt essentially for creative styles. Which means most clothes made out of smock are made by those that actually manufacture it with very little creative designs to it.

However, an item of Ghanaian fashion that is hardly adopted by our designers are the cowry shells. In today’s day and age if a fan of African culture and fashion identifies them on clothes, 9 times out of ten it most likely would be the work of a Guinean creative, and very very few times Ghanaian designers.

Little do we Ghanaians know, the word “cedi” of our very own currency comes from a local word meaning a cowry shell. Cowry shells (from sea snails) were once used as money in Ghana. And clothes with Cowry shells were once worn by the well sorted Ghanaians of the community. When this traditional culture faded away in Ghana, well that’s a mystery. But in the growing world of African fashion, Ghanaian fashionistas could consider this great design accessory.

Consellor Cyrill George Advises Women to Value Themselves

Consellor Cyrill George

Renowned Pastor and Marriage counsellor, Rev. Counsellor(What is that?) Cyril George has advised ladies to know that they have a value in the society if they have forgotten or never imagined so and to fight for their rightful positions especially when it comes to a relationship.

This was the advice he gave on the December 18, 2015, Girl Talk Show at the national theatre headlined by the ‘Forgetting Me’ hitmaker Efya.

Speaking on the topic ‘The value of a woman’, the self-confessed s*x therapist(hmmm!), and the convener of ‘Sexier Together’, a program for couples said women are made for a purpose(and not just emotional handbags that end up in the kitchen) hence they should discover the purpose in their life and fight to achieve it.

He further said, women must know the power of their value because not even Bill Gate’s wealth or any amount of wealth any man has can compare to a woman’s value.

The counsellor who calls himself the Emotional Fixer tasked ladies to make a review of their relationship and enquire, if after any break-up they can celebrate themselves or not.

“Will you walk out as a confident woman, heartbroken or a happy woman”, he questioned.

He said women should let men succeed (and make all the money in the world) and they should not compare themselves to a man’s success but rather strive to meet up to the successes of their fellow women and then that will make their value stand.

The 2015 edition of Girl Talk Concert will surely go into the history books as Efya raised another standard with her energetic performance and soul speaking music.

Present to support her was Sarkodie, Afia Schwarzenegger, Mzvee and many other acts.

Take Down “Beasts of No Nation” Now! – Fuji Fukunaga

Beasts of No Nation

Award-winning Filmmaker, Cary Joji Fukunaga has issued a statement requesting that his critically acclaimed war drama ‘Beasts of No Nation’ be removed from the 2015 Ghana Movie Awards Nominations announced on Friday afternoon in Accra, Ghana.

Beasts of No Nation, a movie starring Idris Elba and a host of Ghanaian stars had quickly racked up nominations in over 15 categories, just because it was shot in Ghana, had Ghanaian producers and it featured a handful of artists of Ghanaian descent.

According to Fukunaga, his film is not a Ghanaian film and he did not submit it to the Ghana Movie Awards Jury; and he wonders how they got to see the movie. They could award anything associated with Ghana.

Parts of the statement reads: “While I am honoured by the numerous nominations from the Ghana Movie Awards jury, I must say ‘Beasts of No Nation’ is not for what the awards are intended for. It is merely a movie is shot in Ghana with supporting cast and crew in Ghana for an international audience.”

“Tony Tagoe and Danny Damah are not the producers of Beasts of No Nation. Daniel Damah was our line producer for Ghana, and Tony Tagoe as co-producer. I am sure the honourable jury know thedefinition for these roles adequately. ”

“Neither me or any of our producers submitted our film to the Ghana Movie Awards. In fact we don’t know how they even got to watch and review the movie. I didn’t know Netflix worked in Ghana. We only recently screened Beasts Of No Nation in Ghana at the Silverbird Cinemas, and we are absolutely perplexed to be included in an award that closed nominations on November 20 according to reports on the internet.”

“On behalf of the other producers of Beasts Of No Nation’, I request for the annulment of all nominations in the 2015 Ghana Movie Awards or we shall take legal action against the jury and producers of the awards.”

‘Beasts of No Nation’ was screened in the main competition section of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Marcello Mastroianni Award.
At the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, the film was also shown in the Special Presentations section and released on Netflix globally and in a limited release by Bleecker Street on October 16, 2015.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian industry players have argued back and forth over why the movie swooped 14 nominations at the Ghana Movie awards with some saying that although the movie was shot in Ghana, it does not make it a Ghanaian movie but organizers of the Awards who still insist on claiming glory for the price not won stated in response that the producers of the movie are Ghanaians and therefore, it qualifies to be nominated.

The movie is based on a 2005 novel of the same name by Uzodinma Iweala. ‘Beasts of No Nation’ was directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and tells the story about a young boy surviving a civil war in his country.

The film was shot in Ghana and stars Idris Elba, Ama K. Abebrese, Abraham Attah, Grace Nortey, David Dontoh, and Opeyemi Fagbohungbe

Watch The Crazy Dance Competition At Efya’s Girl Talk Concert

Sorry to the guys who did not get the chance to be at this year’s Girl Talk Concert on Friday at the National Theater, you missed a lot.

The show started with an all ladies band giving out a great performance to welcome patrons. However, before the band walked off stage to allow the show to start, there was a dancing competition.

That was when all the fun at the Efya Girl Talk Concert started. These ladies showed all their undies in the name of dancing.

Enjoy these ladies as they groove to a live band performance of Gasmilla’s hit song Telemo and ‘Ye W Krom’ from Atom
