President Mahama has visited injured highlife musician, Amakye Dede at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Nana Ampadu has revealed on Happy FM in Accra.
“Kojo Antwi, Agya Abraham, Bandex and some executives of GHAMRO went to visit him [Amakye Dede] this morning. Although it was not a visiting hour, they allowed us entry, we had a conversation with him and you could see he was responding to treatment.
He told us President Mahama was there the previous day to visit him and all these visitations make him feel good,” Ampadu said.
Amakye Dede together with his bodyguard and manager Isaac Yeboah had an accident on New Year’s Day at Bonsu Junction in Eastern Region. Amakye’s manager died instantly.
The musician and his bodyguard were rushed to the hospital where they are responding to treatment.
