Hiplife godfather and member of VVIP music group, Reggie Rockstone is excited about the reconciliation between dancehall acts, Samini and Shatta Wale.
Samini and Shatta Wale have had a long standing beef and they’ve always used every least opportunity to throw “punches” at each other.
However, recently, the two buried the hatchet on radio after the presenter, Fiifi Selah, made them have a conversation on air where they decided to let go of the past and unite.
Reggie Rockstone also known as Grandpapa, who is excited about the reconciliation, has indicated that it is a good step, taking into consideration the fact that the country is in an election year and things are going to get tensed between political opponents.
In an report on MyJoyonline.com, Reggie says he’ll use the reconciliation between the two to tell politicians that if Samini and Shatta can finally overcome their differences and become friends, they can also do same.
He said the reconciliation of the two will serve as the background of the theme for a peace project this year dubbed: “Leadership By Example”.
Further more, together with other celebrities, they’ll embark on peace walks across the country to drum home the need for peace before, during and after the elections. He said these walks will end in peace jams in every region to give the youth the opportunity to have fun with their favorite celebrities in an atmosphere of peace.
According to Reggie Rockstone, Ghana is the only country we have and therefore we must all play an active part to ensure the sustenance of the peace we are currently enjoying.
